Paul Goodman’s libellous article deleted from Conservative Home

A couple of weeks ago I blogged about an article written on Conservative Home by Paul Goodman – a key figure in the UK’s Israel Lobby. Goodman made what appeared to me to be a false and slanderous assertion about Sir Iqbal Sacranie accusing him of being a trustee of Union of Good – a charity which was controversially designated as a supporter of terrorism by the US government. I said at the time:

“This assertion by Goodman is almost certainly false and I wonder how long it will remain. Let’s see…”

Well, lo and behold, I took a look at Conservative Home today and Goodman’s article has been removed.

Can it be long before Iqbal now receives a proper written apology from Conservative Home and the smear merchant Paul Goodman?
