Craig Murray on the killing of Cengiz Songur

Craig Murray has written a very moving and troubling piece about the death of Cengiz Songur (above). Cengiz was one of several Turkish nationals killed by the Israeli commandos who boarded the Mavi Marmara aid flotilla last summer. Craig has just visited Cengiz Songur’s family in Izmir and has shared with us some rather disconcerting observations about the role of the Turkish government in this tragedy.

And what more can one say about the actions of the institutionally racist and murderous state of Israel? Nothing, except that we pray that one day soon it faces a true day of reckoning, insha’ Allah.
