Ramadan Reading – Part 1

As we enter the last few days of Ramadan I thought I would over the next couple of days share some short passages from a few of the books I have been reading this month. I’ll begin today with an extract from Muhammad Asad’s translation of the Qur’an.

O YOU who have attained to faith! Shall I point out to you a bargain that will save you from grievous suffering [in this world and in the life to come]?

You are to believe in God and His Apostle, and to strive hard in God’s cause with your possessions and your lives: this is for your own good – if you but knew it!

[If you do so,] He will forgive you your sins, and [in the life to come] will admit you into gardens through which running waters flow, and into goodly mansions in [those] gardens of perpetual bliss: that [will be] the triumph supreme!

And [withal, He will grant you] yet another thing that you dearly love: succour from God [in this world], and a victory soon to come: and [thereof, O Prophet,] give thou a glad tiding to all who believe.
(Qur’an: 61:10-13)

hey bunggy suicider goes boom, doyou lads over at the ihkwan know one of the side benefits of the Afghan playground is for Britain. Lots of our army lads are coming home with a profound ….distain for islam and muslims, I’ve even heard some have taken to using pages from the koran for asswipe. I guess the talibs attacked a supply convoy carting bogroll. God I love the muslim brotherhood. I’m under the impression you lot figure the protocols of the elders of zion are authentic so if your enemy is subversively trying to rule the planet, what do you do? Copy their methodology, infiltration and subversion, with greater numbers add colonization. Am I close?

Comments like these are why many secretly enjoy the death of every soldier. Most people are aware that many soldiers are dumb, ignorant, trigger-happy barbarians who are brought up to be animals. The pretence of “protect and serve” is a sham. Army people work to destroy and feed the powerful. All wars of late have been about resources and serving the cooperate conglomerates. As Henry Kissinger pointed out “army men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy.”

So, you and your army lads, go back to your little stupid hole of ignorance and dumbness and let’s hope for an IED to blow up on your faces. And let’s hope before your plug is pulled you cry out “mama” at the time of weakness like the rest of those stupid dead army fools who sign up to destroy soverign nations.
