Prince Charles’ speech on Islam and the environment

Prince Charles delivered the keynote speech last night on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (of which he is the patron). The full speech can be read here.

The speech comes 17 years after his landmark ‘Islam and the West’ speech which incidentally was delivered at the very same venue, the Sheldonian Theatre.

The Prince does come in for a fair amount of criticism, but as far as work with faith communities goes, he has done sterling work over many years and is well respected in return and rightly so.
